The 17th Door’s over-the-top immersive experience returns to Buena Park, Orange County. Celebrating its eleventh season, The 17th Door Haunt Experience returns to Orange County with a dynamic 2025 production featuring state-of-the-art effects, immersive storytelling, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access.

Recognized as one of the most intense haunted attractions in the nation, The 17th Door is known for pushing boundaries with interactive and theatrical design. This season, The 17th Door will feature cutting-edge experiences including rotating rooms, earthquake effects, and hurricane-force winds. Will you cry the safe word, “Mercy”? Or will you survive all 35 minutes of psychological terror?

Guests may also add on the Backstage Tour, which debuted in 2024 and returns due to popular demand. This guided 30+ minute experience offers a rare opportunity to witness the technical artistry and creative efforts behind The 17th Door—including access to cast areas, costume design, scare routes, and the central control room.

***The 17th Door is designed for a mature audience, preferably 16 years of age and older, as guests will find themselves in intense situations. All guests must sign a liability waiver and the actors are allowed to touch guests. At any point during the haunted house experience, guests may use the safe word “Mercy” to skip a room or exit the maze entirely. There are 3 rooms you may not “mercy” out of once you enter, but you may skip these rooms.
