The Rotten Realms opens its doors for its second annual home haunt in the heart of Chino. What began as a love for Halloween and a dream of bringing our community together has grown into a full walk-through nightmare, built by a local crew that lives for a good scare.

This year, the story begins beneath Chino, where an old mineshaft leads to a forgotten farmhouse. Inspired by local folklore, old neighborhood legends, and the ghost stories passed down through generations, The Rotten Realms blends familiar Chino myths with an original tale of its own. The family who lived there was known as The Hive. No one knows exactly what happened to them, but the house has never felt empty. Voices drift through its rooms, figures appear where no one should be standing, and whatever took hold of the family seems to have spread far beyond the farmhouse walls.

Some say the tunnels beneath the property connect to places that were never meant to be found. Others whisper about strange lights, unexplained sounds, and spirits that still wander the land after dark. Whether these stories began as local legends or something more sinister, they have become part of The Rotten Realms and visitors may discover that old myths sometimes have a way of coming alive.

Follow the trail through the house and back into the tunnels, where the deeper you go, the less the world above can reach you.
